Offline collection for field interviewers
Interviewers fill it in without internet; responses arrive automatically, without duplicates, once connected.

Turning on offline collection gives you an "Interviewer link". The interviewer opens it once while online, enters their name in "Interviewer name" and taps "Save on device and start"; from then on the form can be filled in without internet.
Responses wait in a queue on the device and are sent automatically once connected; each response is recorded only once, even if it's sent twice. The bar at the top of the page shows "Queued / Sent / Failed" and has a "Sync now" button.
⚙️ Turning it on
- 1 Open the form and go to the "Settings" tab → "Offline collection" card
- 2 Turn on the switch, copy the "Interviewer link" and send it to your interviewers Send the "Interviewer guide" along with it.
- 3 Keep an eye on devices in "Interviewer devices" You see each device's response count; "Revoke" disables a lost device, and "New link" is for a new group.
"Voice recording" and "GPS location" work offline too: the audio stays on the device and is sent once there's internet.
Turning it on requires the "Institute", "Research" or "Enterprise" plan; once it's on, devices and syncing are never locked.
"Export unsynced responses (JSON)" on the interviewer's device gives you a backup of the queue.
A form that needs the server while being filled in can't go offline: exams, SMS verification, payments, appointment booking, exclusive ranking, lookup fields, capacity or stock, required invitations and quotas. The card tells you exactly what to remove.
