Hiring exam with device lock and report cards

🎯 The end result

Only candidates on your list take the exam, each on their own device; each person gets different questions, the server keeps the time, and at the end you have each person's report card and a ranking of everyone.

🧱 Questions

1. 1 "Exams" → "New exam"; give it a title and click "Create exam and add questions"
2. 2 Bring in questions "From the bank" or create them "With AI" from the job description "Four options" for specialist knowledge and "Short answer" for assessing writing.
3. 3 Set the selection to "Rule-based — a different set for each person" For example, a few easy and a few hard questions from each topic; "Preview a sample" builds a sample paper.

⚙️ Settings

1. 1 "Presets" → "Hiring test" → "Apply" It sets up timing, anti-cheat and results for exactly this use case.
2. 2 "Look & entry": the "With identity details" entry method with "National ID" and "Mobile"
3. 3 "Delivery" → "Paste from Excel": paste the candidate list and turn on "Roster only"
4. 4 In the same tab, turn on the “Device lock” card Each candidate can enter only from their first device.
5. 5 "Security": the "Auto-submit" or "Score deduction" level, "Force fullscreen mode" and, if needed, "Periodic webcam snapshot"
6. 6 "Time & scoring": duration, exam window and passing score

📤 Publishing and sending

Click "Publish exam" and send the link to candidates by SMS or email; or, in "Delivery", use "Personal invitations" to create a single-use link for each person.

📊 Which report gives you the answer

"Participants" → "Group report card": the "Score list" and ranks; on each row, "PDF report card" opens that person's report card. Violations are in the "Violation report", and webcam snapshots are in each attempt's "Behavior".

"Results & analytics" → "Gradebook" with "Excel export", and "Item & class analysis" to find out which questions separated strong candidates from weak ones.

The exam builder is in the free account if the free card shows "Exam builder and question bank". The candidate list, "Roster only", the device lock and the PDF report are available from the "School" plan up, and the webcam is in the "Institute" plan.
