This template belongs to the “Elegant” design and is most useful for these jobs and situations:

  • Lawyer and legal advisor

  • Teacher and instructor
  • Translator and editor
  • Psychologist and education counselor

This template has a linear structure that applicant tracking systems read correctly, so it suits both job boards and direct applications.

About the Elegant · Champagne design

The Elegant design is built on typography, not color: your name sits large and light in the center of the header, section titles appear between two fine rules and a small ornament fills the empty space. The accent color shows only in the details, so the resume stays fully formal while standing apart.

This template is for professions where trust and precision come first and a polished appearance is part of the job: law, consulting, teaching, translation, public relations and luxury services. Text breathes in this template; if you have a lot of content, the Two-column or Minimal design is a better choice.

The “Champagne” palette has warm neutrals such as gold, cream and brown; a classic, dignified feel tied to experience and credibility.

A photo is optional in this template; if you leave it out, the header is laid out without an empty space.

Sections in this template

A resume in this template is made of these sections; each has its own form in the editor:

  • Header and contact details: Name, job title, email, phone, city, website and photo (optional).
  • Professional summary: Three or four sentences about your specialty, years of experience and most important achievement.
  • Work experience: Title, organization, city, start and end dates and up to 12 achievement bullets per job.
  • Education: Degree, field, university, years and GPA.
  • Skills: With levels from one to five and groups (for example software, programming languages, soft skills).
  • Languages: Each language with its proficiency level.
  • Certificates and courses: Course name, issuer, date and verification link.
  • Projects: Name, your role, link and a short description.
  • Awards and links: Awards, rankings and your LinkedIn, GitHub or portfolio link.
  • Interests: A few short items that show your personality.

Reorder sections by dragging and hide any you don’t need; that section’s data isn’t deleted and comes back whenever you want.

Tips for filling in this template

  • Order sections by importance for that particular job ad; you rearrange them by dragging in the appearance settings.
  • In a single-column template, keep each experience bullet to one line starting with an action verb: “launched”, “reduced”.
  • Write your job title in exactly the words of the job ad so the screening system can find it.
  • If you have more than ten years of experience, summarize older jobs in one line so the resume doesn’t exceed two pages.
