Who is the Timeline · Mint template for?

This template belongs to the “Timeline” design and is most useful for these jobs and situations:

  • Project manager and project control
  • People promoted within one organization
  • Recent graduates
  • Career changers
  • Logistics and supply chain specialist
  • Supervisor and operations manager

This template has a linear structure that applicant tracking systems read correctly, so it suits both job boards and direct applications.

About the Timeline · Mint design

In the Timeline design, experience and education sit on a vertical axis and each job has a colored dot with its start and end dates. Without reading a word, the reader sees how many years you spent where, where you grew and which direction your path has taken. Each job’s bullets sit under the same dot, so “where” and “what I did” stay connected.

This template is best for people with a continuous, upward career path, or who want to show promotion within one organization. It works for newcomers too: education, internships and student projects on the same line build a coherent history. If you have a gap between two jobs, explain it with one line in that period.

The “Mint” palette is built on green, a calm color that suggests growth, balance and freshness and suits health, environment, education and finance very well.

A photo is optional in this template; if you leave it out, the header is laid out without an empty space.

Sections in this template

A resume in this template is made of these sections; each has its own form in the editor:

  • Header and contact details: Name, job title, email, phone, city, website and photo (optional).
  • Professional summary: Three or four sentences about your specialty, years of experience and most important achievement.
  • Work experience: Title, organization, city, start and end dates and up to 12 achievement bullets per job.
  • Education: Degree, field, university, years and GPA.
  • Skills: With levels from one to five and groups (for example software, programming languages, soft skills).
  • Languages: Each language with its proficiency level.
  • Certificates and courses: Course name, issuer, date and verification link.
  • Projects: Name, your role, link and a short description.
  • Awards and links: Awards, rankings and your LinkedIn, GitHub or portfolio link.
  • Interests: A few short items that show your personality.

Reorder sections by dragging and hide any you don’t need; that section’s data isn’t deleted and comes back whenever you want.

Tips for filling in this template

  • Enter full start and end dates for every job; a timeline without dates loses its meaning.
  • Tick “Currently working here” for your current job so “present” appears instead of an end date.
  • Write a promotion within one organization as two separate entries so your growth shows on the line.
  • Two to four achievement bullets under each dot are enough; save the details for the interview.
