Who is the Creative · Teal & yellow template for?

This template belongs to the “Creative” design and is most useful for these jobs and situations:

  • Graphic and brand identity designer
  • UI/UX designer
  • Illustrator and animator
  • Photographer and filmmaker
  • Interior designer and architect
  • Content creator and copywriter

This template has a more graphic look and is best for sending directly to a hiring manager, by email or on LinkedIn; for applicant tracking systems, keep the same data in a single-column template too.

About the Creative · Teal & yellow design

The Creative design deliberately breaks from the rigid single column: sections sit on softly shadowed cards, colors are bold and headings big and heavy. The asymmetric two-column layout leaves more room for projects and portfolio pieces and puts your portfolio, Behance or Dribbble link front and center.

In creative jobs, the resume itself is your first portfolio piece. An employer looking for a designer judges your taste and precision from how your resume looks; this template shows that taste without sacrificing readability. If you’re sending it to a very formal company, move the same content to a simpler template with one click.

The “Teal & yellow” palette is built on green, a calm color that suggests growth, balance and freshness and suits health, environment, education and finance very well.

A photo frame is part of this design; you choose the photo shape (round, rounded, square or no photo) yourself.

Sections in this template

A resume in this template is made of these sections; each has its own form in the editor:

  • Header and contact details: Name, job title, email, phone, city, website and photo (optional).
  • Professional summary: Three or four sentences about your specialty, years of experience and most important achievement.
  • Work experience: Title, organization, city, start and end dates and up to 12 achievement bullets per job.
  • Education: Degree, field, university, years and GPA.
  • Skills: With levels from one to five and groups (for example software, programming languages, soft skills).
  • Languages: Each language with its proficiency level.
  • Certificates and courses: Course name, issuer, date and verification link.
  • Projects: Name, your role, link and a short description.
  • Awards and links: Awards, rankings and your LinkedIn, GitHub or portfolio link.
  • Interests: A few short items that show your personality.

Reorder sections by dragging and hide any you don’t need; that section’s data isn’t deleted and comes back whenever you want.

Tips for filling in this template

  • Give the wide column to experience and projects and the narrow one to skills, languages and certificates.
  • To stay on one page, reduce the font size slightly (down to 90%) or hide less important sections.
  • Put at most five or six sections in each column so the eye doesn’t get lost between the two.
  • Write dates consistently (month and year); in the Persian version the template engine shows them in the Persian calendar.
